01 : Delhi – Haridwar by Surface (215 Kms / 05 Hrs)
Pick-up from the place of stay and drive to Haridwar, on arrival check-in at the hotel.
Haridwar means “Gateway to god”. It’s is essentially a Hindu pilgrim town with temples, hermitages and Dharamshalas along the banks of the river Ganga. Also visit Har-ki-pauri, the most popular bathing Ghat which has a footprint of Lord Vishnu, the Hindu God of preservation, on stone.
Later Proceed for sightseeing visit Chandi Devi Temple, Mansa Devi temple, Dahsh Maha Devi Temple etc.
In the evening witness Ganga Aarti at Har-ki-pauri and take holy dip at the Ganges.
Overnight at the hotel.

02 : Haridwar – Rishikesh (24 Kms) - Delhi (226 Kms/05 Hrs)
After breakfast visit Rishikesh.
Visit this town, which stands for the “plaits of the sage”. It is a place of ashrams where solace seekers come to spend their time in serenity of God. Visit the Shivananda Ashram where discourses in English on Hindu religious texts can be heard. Also visit the Lakshman Jhoola, a suspension bridge spanning the Ganga. Time permitting, participate in a prayer meeting and watch a Yoga demonstration.
Afternoon drive to Delhi and drop at place of stay.

01 : Arrive Madurai by flight
Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel.
Madurai  is the oldest city in Tamil Nadu. Madurai lies on the banks of the River Vaigai the Temple and the old city are on the southern bank while modern Madurai with its textile mills, engineering industries and large university sprawls around.
Afternoon visit Tirumala Nayak Palace – A gracious building in the Indo sacracenic style,  famous for the Stucco work on its domes and arches ,the Pazhamudir Solai Temple, and the Kallazhagar Koil. Later visit the Great Meenakshi Temple, dedicated to consort of Lord Shiva with its towering Gopurams (rising high above the surrounding country side).

02 : Madurai - Rameshwaram – by surface (160 Kms)
After breakfast drive to Rameshwaram and on arrival check-in at the hotel.
Rameshwaram is an island hallowed by the Ramayana. A devotee who visit Varanasi is also expected to visit this place to gain the full fruit of his prayers, This place is sacred to Shaivites and Vaishnavites.

03 : Rameshwaram
Morning visit the Temples and perform Pooja. Visit Ramanatha Swami temple, close to the sea on the eastern side of the island, famous for its magnificient corridors and massive sculptured pillars lining them. It is also one of the 12 jyotilinga shrines in the country.
Later visit Danushkodi.  Dhanushkodi is a wonderful temple on the southern tip of India and it was completely washed away by the cyclone. The location of the place is wonderful and it being an island is covered by waters on all the four sides of it. It is located near the Bay of Bengal and Indian Ocean on the other side. The seas are in the shape of bow and arrow when viewed from the top. The arrow head is considered to be a sacred place for worship by the Hindus and people from far and wide come there to offer sacred prayers to the deity. Lord Rama has his pious feet even in this temple and whole story of Ramayana revolves here as well. It is a wonderful pilgrim place for the followers of Lord Rama. The place stays to be around 18 kms from Rameshwaram and one can easily travel by road.

04 : Rameshwaram  - Kanyakumari by surface (280 Kms)
After breakfast drive to Kanyakumari and on arrival check-in at the hotel.
Kanyakumari the land’s end of India or the point where the three seas meet, is the  enchanting Kanyakumari or Cape Comorin. It is one of the most populartourist spots in the state and indeed, in the country.
Afternoon visit Vivekananda Rock, which is dedicated to Swami Vivekananda, the Greatest social reformer and saint India has produced.  It was built in 1970. Also visit Gandhi  Memorial – This was constructed at the spot where the ashes of Mahatma Gandhi were kept for public view in an urn before a portion was immersed into the three seas. Visit Kanya Kumari Amman Temple – It is dedicated to Parvathias Devi Kanya, the virgin goddess who did penance to  obtain the hand of Lord Shiva.

05 : Kanyakumari – Trivandrum by surface (89 Kms)
After breakfast drive to Trivandrum and on arrival check-in at the hotel.
Located at the South Western trip of India, Tiruvanthapuram district is bounded by the Arabian sea on the west and Tamil Nadu in the east. The wooded highlands on the Western Ghats in the eastern and the north eastern borders give Trivandrum some of the most enchanting picnic spots. Along shore line, with secluded internationally renowned beaches, historic monuments, backwater stretches and a rich cultural heritage make this district a much sought after tourist destination. It is also the capital of Kerala.

The marvelous idol of Sree Padmanabhaswamy is seen reclined on the mighty five hooded serpent Anantha. The supreme God is in conscious cosmic slumber with the head positioned to the south and the feet to the north. Anantha (or the endless) spreads its hoods above the head of the idol. The three coils represent the three characteristics of mankind Sattya, Rajas and Tamas and its five hoods indicate the Panchendriyas (five senses) or the five elepents (Panchabhootas). From the navel of the Lord emerges a lotus on which Lord Brahma, the creator, is seated. Just below the stretched right arm of the Lord is the Shiva Linga of the Destroyer. Brahma, Vishnu (Padmanabha) and Shiva represent the “Shrushti, Stithi and Samharam”.

The temple of Chottanikkara is a living legend shrowned in magnificent mythology and awe-inspiring truth. Its historical appeal and traditional influence on generations of people is tremendous. Legends say that the presence of Divinity here was worshipped by BHOGACHARYA. The deity which is swayambhoo in latrite called Rudraksha Sila was worshipped by divine souls like Adisankaracharya, Vilwamangalam Swamiyar, Kakkasseri Bhattathiri and Chemmangattu Bhattathiri. It is the cynosure of thousands of devotees swarming from all over the world on all auspicious and festive occations.The golden hued Idol bedecked with flowers, garlands, jewels and bathed in myrid of light shine splendidly.
It is a picturesque image bewitching everybodyand embodiment of peace dispelling fears from devotees who worship Her. The temple is situated in hilly region surrounded on all sides by undulating beauty, rich with its green turf, golden farms and provides deep spritiual solace to the entire devotees.
This is one of the most celebrated Hindu shrines of Kerala. Thousands of pilgrims and devotees of the Goddess visit here and make their reverential offerings to redeem them of their afflictions. A visit to the temple brings relief to them from the overburdening anguish and agonies of material life.
The sacred doors of the sanctorum open in the wee hours of the day, at 4.00 a.m. The blowing of the conch and playing of the temple musical instruments lend an enchanting ritualistic rhythm and peace to those who seek a sure answer to the patient prayers. Sree Mookambika Saraswathy is also believed as present in the temple in the morning. That is why Mookambika Temple at kollur opens only after the Goddess Saraswathy returns to there late in the morning.

The Guruvayoor Sree Krishna Temple is one of the most important and sacred pilgrim centres of Kerala. The presiding deity is Maha Vishnu, in standing posture with four hands carrying Sankhu (conch), Sudarshana chakram (a serrated disk),lotus and mace. He is worshipped as Balakrishna, the full avatar (Purnaavatara) of Mahavishnu .The idol is made of a rare stone known as Patala Anjana.
The glory of Guruvayur - the place has been also come to be justly known as the Dwaraka of the South - thus rests on the of the idol installed there which represents the full manifestation of the Lord Mahavishnu as was revealed to Vasudeva and Devakiat the time of Krishnavatara ; world-enchanting form of Sri Krishna endowed with the four lustrous arms carrying the conch, the discus, the mace and the lotus. Adoring himself with the divine tulasi garland and pearl necklaces, the Lord here appears in all radiance. His eyes stream forth the milk of compassion and kindness.

Evening witness Ganga Aarti. Har-ki-Pauri  is the centre of activity in Haridwar: piety and brisk business go hand in hand here at all times. There are thread ceremonies, tonsuring ceremonies, holy dips, and ash immersion ceremonies. However, it is at the time of the evening aarti that the ghats of Har-ki-Pauri command rapt attention from the onlookers. This is Haridwar at its best and is not to be missed.
Return to Rishikesh for overnight stay.

Agra, Agra is globally renown as the city of the Taj Mahal. But this royal Mughal city has, in addition to the legendary Taj, many monuments that epitomise the high point of Mughal architecture. In the Mughal period, in the 16th and 17th centuries, Agra was the capital of India.
It was here that the founder of the dynasty, Babar, laid out the first formal Persian garden on the banks of the river Yamuna. Here, Akbar, his grandson raised the towering ramparts of the great Red Fort. Within its walls, Jehangir built rose-red palaces, courts and gardens, and Shahajahan embellished it with marble mosques, palaces and pavilions of gem-inlaid white marble.

10 : Delhi – Agra
Early morning visit Taj Mahal – Taj Mahal - One of the most photographed tourist attractions in the world, Taj Mahal is the attraction that pulls the tourists from all over the world. The Taj Mahal is entirely made of white marble and its walls are decorated with exquisite pietra dura (stone inlay) work. It is said that different types of precious and semi-precious stones were used in the intricate inlay work done on the interiors. This magnificent monument is set around a Charbagh or 'four garden' plan, which is split by watercourses-a reflection of the Persian style.
After breakfast visit Agra Fort - Built by Emperor Akbar on the west bank of the river Yamuna and beautified with palaces and gardens by Jehangir, Agra Fort today dominates the center of the city. The crescent-shaped fort with its 20-metre high, 2.4-km outer walls contains a maze of buildings that form a small city within a city. One can enter the fort only through the Amar Singh Gate. The public access is limited to the southern part of the fort, which includes nearly all the buildings of tourist interest. The Diwan-i-Aam (hall of public audience) and Diwan-i-Khas (hall of private audience) were built by Shahjahan for receiving audiences.
Jehangir's palace built by Akbar was the largest private residence in the fort. Close to Diwan-i-Khas, stands an octagonal tower known as Musamman Burj. It was here that Shahjahan breathed his last after seven years of imprisonment. Other places to see within the fort include the Khas Mahal, Sheesh Mahal (the mirror palace) and the Anguri Bagh (the Grape Garden).

After breakfast proceed for sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi.  Visit to Raj Ghat- the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi, drive past the magnificent Red Fort &  Jama Masjid, Humayun’s Tomb, Qutab Minar–gracefully hand-carved for its entire height of 234 ft., India Gate - (memorial to the Indian army soldiers who died in World War) and Lotus Temple. 
Afternoon visit  Akshardham Temple.

13 : Delhi – Lucknow by flight S24244 (0900-1005 Hrs)
In time transfer to airport to board flight to Lucknow. Meeting and assistance on arrival and drive to Ayodhya. (136 Kms).

A city that has been benevolently blessed with so many saintly personalities Ayodhya reverberates a historic past with a religious fervor. 14 : Faizabad – Allahabad by surface (174 Kms)

The city of Allahabad is one place where the remains of the dead take rest and leave for the ethereal abode, and get rid of their eternal cycle of birth and rebirth. Allahabad city is also the land where some of India's most charismatic people have either taken birth or made it their permanent abode.
Take holi dip at Triveni Sangam. Located approximately 7 km from Civil Lines, it is actually the confluence of three holy rivers-Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati. It becomes a center of attraction for hundreds and thousands of religious travelers after every twelve years when it hosts the famous Kumbh Mela. 15 : Allahabad
Morning visit to the temples.
Later visit Allahabad Fort - Built by Akbar in AD 1583, the Allahabad Fort exhibits fine depictions of art, design, architecture, and craftsmanship of the fort. Visitors are allowed to view the Ashoka Pillar, Saraswati Kup and Jodhabai Palace.
Patalpuri Temple and Akshaya Vat - Located inside the Allahabad Fort, this is actually an underground temple, alluding to associations with Lord Rama. The famous Akshaya Vat one of the most revered trees of the Hindus is also sited within the temple.
Anand Bhawan & Swaraj Bhawan - The ancestral home of the Nehrus, the Anand Bhawan now houses a memorabilia of the Nehru-Gandhi family and one of the excellent museums of India. Swaraj Bhawan - Located next to the Anand Bhawan, and built by Pt. Moti Lal Nehru, it is the house where the former Prime Minister of India Mrs. Indira Gandhi was born. Khusrau Bagh - This huge garden houses the mausoleums of Khusrau, his sister, and his Rajput mother.
Hanuman Mandir - Located near the Allahabad Fort, it is famous for the image of the reclined position monkey-god Hanuman.

16 : Allahabad – Chitrakoot by surface (135 Kms)
After breakfast drive to Chitrakoot and on arrival check-in at the hotel.
Chitrakoot incorporates very many places of religious and pauranic importance, visited both by devotees and sight-seers. From the administrative view point, some of these places are situated in Uttar Pradesh and others in Madhya Pradesh. As all these places are popularly associated with religious feelings of the people and a large number of pilgrims visit these sites.
Visit the temples. The main holy place of Chitrakoot is Kamad Giri. Kamadgiri means the mountain which fulfills all the desires, Ram Ghat - it is the most beautiful bathing ghat of the Payaswini river believed to be capable of absolving a person from all his sins.  The famous temple of Mattagajendreshwar or MadganjanSami is situated on the Ramghat, Raghv – Prayag Ghat – This is to the South of the Ramghat of the Payaswini and is the convergence point of the three rivers – The Payaswini, the Mandakini and the Gayatri (or the Savitri , a river not visible to the eye) meet here.

17 : Chitrakoot – Varanasi by surface (260 Kms)
Morning visit the other temples. Later drive to Varanasi and on arrival check-in at the hotel.
Varanasi, one of the ancient seats of learning in India, is said to be a compound of the names of two streams, the Varuna and the Assi, which still flow in the north and south of the city respectively. This name seems to have been corrupted, in medieval times to Banaras, which was in use till May 24, 1956 when it was changed to Varanasi, by an order of the Government of India. Varanasi is probably one of the most ancient living cities in India. From time immemorial it has been a great religious center for Hindus and one of their most sacred places of pilgrimage, being visited by millions of people every year.

18 : Varanasi
Early morning, special Darshan  at Kashi Vishwanath Temple & Vindhachal Devi.
Later  boat ride on the Ganges to see the bathing Ghats (river bank) & cremation site. Sunrise on the riverfront, as seen from a boat, can be a spiritually uplifting sight. The life on the Ghats bound in an endless string of rituals, ever-changing aspects of the river & the wide landscape across have fascinated visitors from all over the world. Return to the hotel for breakfast.
Later city tour of Varanasi - Visit the Bharat Mata temple with a big relief map of India in Marble, Durga temple, Tulsi Manas Mandir, Benaras Hindu University which has an art gallery & the mosque of Moghul Emperor Aurangzeb.
Afternoon excursion to Sarnath - the buried Buddhist city where Buddha preached his first sermon. After attaining enlightenment at Bodh Gaya the Buddha went to Sarnath; and it was here that he preached his first discourse in the deer park to set in motion the 'Wheel of the Dharma'. It is one of the most holy sites as in this place the stream of the Buddha's teaching first flowed. Sarnath was a renowned school of learning from 16th century BC to 12th century AD.  Visit the ruins, the stupa, the Buddhist temple & the museum (closed on Fridays).  At the museum is the Ashok Pillar with its four guardian lions, used as independent Indias’ national emblem.

19 : Varanasi – Delhi – Bangalore by flight

After early breakfast visit Puttaparthi.

21 : Bangalore – Mysore by surface (138 Kms)
After breakfast drive to Mysore enroute visiting Srirangapatnam. This island fortress, once the capital of warrior kings Hider Ali and his son Tipu Sultan has magnificent monuments that are well worth to visit.
On arrival in Mysore check-in at the hotel.
Mysore was the capital of the Wodeyar dynasty, feudatories of the Vijayanagar Empire, who declared their independence in the 16th century and ruled in Mysore until Independence, barring three decades when Haider Ali and his son Tipu Sultan wrested power from them. Mysore today is a pleasant city with an old world charm, contributed by its broad shady avenues, well laid out gardens, fine buildings and a salubrious climate.
Afternoon proceed for half day city tour visiting  the Palace of Maharaja built in 1911-12. The Palace is harmonious syntheses of the Hindu and Saracenic styles of architecture with archways, domes, turrets, colonnades and sculptures which are magnificent. One of the largest Palaces in the country with some art treasures, it is beautifully restored and maintained. This stained glass, wall paintings, ivory inlaid doors and ornate golden throne are all remarkable.

22 : Mysore – Bangalore by surface (138 Kms). Bangalore – Goa by flight
After breakfast drive to Bangalore Airport to board flight for Goa. Meeting and assistance on arrival in Goa and transfer to hotel.

After breakfast proceed for half day city tour starting from the slopes of Altinho Hill for a breathtaking view of Panjim & river Mandovi. Then to Donapaula for a view of india’s largest natural harbour Marmgoa. Then to Old Goa visiting Basillica of Bom  Jesus wherein is enshrined the body of St.Francis Xavier in a sliver ornate casket. Then to St. Cathedral ,the biggest church in the East. St.Cajetan, built like St.Peters(Rome). Chruch of Holy Rosary & St. Monica

24 : Goa – Mumbai by flight
In time transfer to Airport to board flight for Mumbai. Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to the hotel.
Mumbai the capital of Maharastra,  is a melting pot of cultures, religions, languages and cuisions. Its about beaches, amusement park, pubs and discos. Its about experiences, stories, hopes and aspirations.

25 : Mumbai
After breakfast proceed for half day city tour visiting the Gateway of India,Prince of Wales Museum (closed on Mondays) Fish Aquarium, Jain Temple, Hanging Garden on the slopes of Malabar Hills oferring nice view of Marine Lines and Chwpatty Beach, Kamla Nehru Park. Mani Bhawan (Where Mahatma Gandhi used to stay) then to Dhobi Ghat . Also drive past Afgan church , Flora Fountain (Bombay nerve –centre), colourful Crawford Market and Marine Drive.

26 : Depart Mumbai
In time transfer to Airport to board flight for onward destination.

End of the programme. Check-in & check-out time is 12 Noon at the hotels.

DAY & PROGRAMME

01 : Arrive Jammu. Jammu – Katra (50 Kms/2 Hrs)
Arrival Jammu by train or by air. Meet and assist on arrival at railway station or airport and proceed straight to Katra by Car. Arrive Katra and check in at Hotel.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

02 : Katra
Early morning after breakfast, proceed for Heli Pad Departure Katra by Helicopter. Arrival Sanjichhat Onward to Bhawan by foot or Ponies (to be arranged directly).Priority Darshan. After darshan leave by ponies for Sanjichhat for last Helicopter to Katra. Departure Sanjichhat by Helicopter Arrival Katra After Darshan, Check in at Hotel.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

03 : Arrive Jammu. Jammu – Katra (50 Kms/2 Hrs)
Breakfast at the Hotel. In time transfer to Jammu Airport or Railway station to connect flight or Train for further destination.

End of the programme. Check-in & check-out time is 12 Noon.
